Nebraska American Legion 2025-2026 Lottery Winners Announced

News Release

Lincoln (February 11, 2026) – The Nebraska American Legion, held the drawing for its annual lottery fundraiser at their Mid-Year Conference on January 18 in Norfolk. All proceeds of the lottery are used to support our Nebraska American Legion Programs.

The $2,500 grand prize winner was James Hilger of Omaha. Duane Deterding of North Platte won $1,000, and Ronald Lemm of Omaha won $500. The five $200 winners were: Marvin Brummond of Wayne; David Dietze of Gretna; Richard Egging of Gurley; Duane Horseman of Gretna; and Thomas Jensen of Omaha. The five $100-dollar winners were: Doug Frahm of Amelia won twice; Don Nelson of Clay Center won twice; and KayLynn Novak of Emerson.
